The pupperazzi is always getting in my face. *HUFF*
Humom decided to be a good human and took me to a field near our house to play and zoom zoom zoom! I’m a happy Shiba!

As you may know, today is my first birthday! Humom says I am true Shiba royalty because I was born on the day of a royal wedding. Well, I agree, I am Shiba royalty, but it has nothing to do with whatever she’s talking about! *HUFF*
As a celebration for my birthday my humans decided to take me on a super pawesome hike. They took me on the Chambers Creek Trail in the Plumas National Forest. There were tons of smells and stuff to look at, I was having a blast! The humans even made me walk across a creek, but I didn’t mind so much. About half a mile from our destination, I decided I was gonna roll in some dirt. I figure it’s my birthday and I do what I want! Well, the humans thought I needed to be brushed off because I’m not allowed to get dirty. That’s when they noticed TICKS! This was my first encounter with these nasty little creatures and I hope it’s the last! The humans decided to cut the hike short and took me straight to the vet to get the ticks removed.
Going to the vet was the LAST thing I wanted to do on my birthday, but I behaved myself. I screamed at the vet tech a couple times, which was actually hilarious because she had no idea such a noise could come out of a dog! BOL!
Once we got home from the vet I figured it was time to milk the birthday vet visit for all it was worth. Let me tell you, I rocked the shiba mind control. I got cheese and steak with dinner, a bully stick, ziwipeak venison noms, new squeaky kong tennis balls, a deer antler, and I got the couch all to myself for naps. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with how today turned out.
I plan to make the humans feel guilty by showing them the tick bites as often as possible until they’re healed. Shiba mind control!

I love hiking with the humans, this place was pawesome and I hope I get to go again… as long as there aren’t any ticks!!

Getting ready to roll in the dirt!!

Aunt Ki came to visit and I had to show her my sweet Shiba Laser Vision. She is super jealous.
yesterday morning my humans (kai & tra) helped transport kitsunae, a gorgeous three-year-old red female shiba, from her old home to animal guardian network ranch. my humans really enjoyed transporting her; she’s quite lovable and was great in the car. my humans are very hopeful that she’ll be…
